Not who you are.
Power + Peace Code
We’ve been told a lie: that we have to give up our peace to be powerful. We don’t.
Ten minutes. Four steps, in order. For the woman who does it all, has it all, and is tired of carrying it all.
We’ve been told a lie: that we have to give up our peace to be powerful. We don’t.
One page. Keep it on your phone.
You answer the message at 11pm with your jaw already clenched.
You sit in the car five minutes longer, because the house needs you the second you walk in.
You brush your teeth while planning tomorrow, and call that rest.
None of that is a character flaw. It’s a nervous system stuck in gear — and it can be shifted in ten minutes.
Four steps with the timing marked. Use the whole thing when you have ten minutes, the first three when you have ninety seconds.
Hand on chest. Tight, wired, numb, restless, heavy, calm — name it without fixing it.
Shake it out, walk fast, push against a wall. Then three physiological sighs.
Four in through the nose, six out. Around thirty breaths. The long exhale tells your body it’s safe.
Three questions that sort what’s urgent from what’s actually yours to carry.
Follow the circle for one minute. This is the piece most women say changes the rest of the evening.
Four seconds in. Six seconds out.
“We’ve been told a lie: that we have to give up our peace to be powerful. We don’t.”
I wrote this for the women I work with every week — running teams, running homes, running on empty, and still being told to try harder. The Power + Peace Code is the reset I give them first, because it works in a car park, in a bathroom, in the ten minutes before everyone needs you again.
